Mr. George Ambrosie Shayo is the Managing Partner of the Firm. He is in Charge of Litigation, Arbitration and Labor Law Practices. He is a registered Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and Subordinates Court thereto save for Primary Courts. He has over 10 years of Practice in the Legal Fraternity and qualifies to Practice before the Highest Courts in the Country (The Court of Appeal of Tanzania). Mr. George has a reach experience in Civil Litigation, HR Consultants and Labor Practices and General Legal advisory on Transactions. He has been in charge of various Legal department as a head of Litigation. He has an LLB & LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of Dar es Salaam. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law school of Tanzania.

    • Advising on matters of patent infringement and validity including providing freedom to operate opinions in relation to electronic and mechanical products.
    • Acting in proceedings in the Copyright Tribunal and the Court of Appeal relating to online copyright infringement.
    • Acting in trademark cancellation proceedings before the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
    • Managing global IP enforcement and brand protection programmes (including advising on trademark infringement and passing off for leading international electronics and fashion brands.
